Checkers Contest

Grandmaster Vladimir Kaplan is well known in the United States as the great player and as the author of many great books on Pool Checkers.  The New York players also knew him as a great coach who generously shared his knowledge and wisdom with all.

On January 11, 2005 Vladimir Kaplan would have been 80 years old.
Let us celebrate his birthday in our own fashion - by having a Checkers Contest in his honor!

Aron Zlobinskiy, who took over Kaplan's place at the Brooklyn Elite Pool Checkers Club,
offers 10 superb puzzles for you to solve (with books as prizes).
Please send your solutions to him at zlobin@optonline.net by February 5, 2005.
